Jay F. Morgan, MD
Dr. Morgan received his medical degree from the University Of Louisville School Of Medicine, Louisville, KY. He completed two years of internal medicine training at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital and affiliated clinics. Dr. Morgan has earned numerous scholastic honors and awards including being a recipient of the Sarchet Medical Scholarship. He was among the team of physicians published in the Journal of Endocrinology, in July 2014, study examining “Dopamine-2 receptor activation suppresses PACAP expression in gonadotrophs.”
Additionally, Dr. Morgan has contributed to a number of scientific research projects including research on the effects of acupuncture on hypertension. He has devoted time volunteering medical services to underserved populations, providing healthcare to persons diagnosed with addiction, diabetes, hypertension, and a broad spectrum of chronic and acute health conditions.
Dr. Morgan is committed to patient education. He holds the belief that providing health education, teaching patients about chronic disease management and lifestyle changes, are beneficial for prevention and enhancement of their overall quality of life.
